ABOUT
Alexia Saigh is a Los Angeles and Paris based experimental artist whose practice bridges visual storytelling, lighting design, and immersive installation. She recently completed her MA in Film and Photography at Paris College of Art and is currently pursuing her MFA in Cinematography at UCLA, where she is expanding her technical fluency in image making while deepening the conceptual foundations of her work.

Her artistic language centers on the interplay of light, color, and nonlinear narratives, often blurring the line between reality and illusion. She creates sensory environments through projection, abstraction, and experimental cinematography that draw viewers into unfamiliar emotional and psychological spaces. Inspired by artists such as Pipilotti Rist and Refik Anadol, she explores immersive worlds shaped by light, movement, and technological experimentation. Looking ahead, she aims to expand her installation based environments, projection driven experiences, and cinematic work that reimagines how audiences interact with image and space.

Alexia holds a B.A. in Fine Arts with a minor in Film, Television, and Digital Media from UCLA, graduating Cum Laude, making the Dean’s Honors List, and joining the Golden Key Honor Society. Her interdisciplinary foundation is further informed by studies in architecture and design at UCLA Extension. Her work has been recognized with a 1st Place U.S. Congressional Art Award, a 3rd Place International Photography Award, and features in PhotoVogue.

Through her practice, Alexia seeks to explore how visual art can transport and transform. She hopes to leave a lasting impact through sensory-driven experiences that encourage viewers to step beyond the familiar and see the world in new ways.
