What is fashion? Is it fabric, structure, or something more intangible? Limb(o) challenges traditional definitions, exploring fashion as perception, transformation, and experience. At its core, fashion is the act of transforming the body to be perceived in a different way. Through video, photography, and light projection, a contortionist’s body becomes the garment, bending, twisting, and illuminated into new forms. Fashion exists not in cloth, but in how the body is seen, shaped, and reimagined. By blurring the lines between physical and virtual, material and immaterial, this work invites viewers to question fashion’s boundaries and possibilities, suggesting that fashion can be light, motion, and perception itself.
